Formerly from Afghanistan, Hamed Wardak is born the kid of Afghanistan’s defense minister, Abdul Rahim Wardak. Hamed Wardak attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C. from 1993 to 1997 when he was being made a Valedictorian of his school. In 1997, Wardak also earned acknowledgment as an International Rhodes Scholar. Hamed Wardak returned to his native Afghanistan after finishing his time at Georgetown to see how he could use the connections and resources the United Stated would give him to support his home country and his fellow Afghan brothers and sisters in turn.
Between 2004 to 2005, Hamed worked as Managing Director of Global Development Services, Inc. Technologists, Inc. worked in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a consultant with the U.S. government involved in enterprise growth activities. Under the leadership of Mr. Wardak, Technologists, Inc. has produced 44 million dollars in design and contract building to support Afghanistan.
Hamed Wardak was one of the first eight members of the Campaign for a US-Afghanistan Partnership (CUSAP), in addition to his work at Technologists, Inc. CUSAP was conceived as a non-profit initiative that leveraged the efforts of both Afghan and American people to work towards the aim of prosperous and stable stability for Afghanistan and its residents. Hamed Wardak developed “Ludas Athletics,” an apparel company built to enhance the human body, leveraging his market insight and connections formed during college years. Most recently, Hamed Wardak has joined music development, and you will find him playing under the umbrella of “Valen of Wicked” at musical events. His latest electro concept meets historically influenced beats is earning him considerable renown in the NYC music scene and across the globe.
